LiveInRented is a paying-guest (PG) and hostel marketplace for the National Capital Region of India, operated by LiveInRented Private Limited. We connect people looking for a room directly with the owner of the property. There is no broker in the middle, and renters pay no finder's fee.
Renting a PG room in Delhi NCR normally goes like this. You find a listing with photographs of a room that may or may not exist. A broker shows you something else, takes a month's rent as commission, and is unreachable by the time the geyser stops working. On move-in day nobody is there with the keys, the agreement is a WhatsApp message, and the electricity meter reading is whatever the owner says it was.
Every part of how LiveInRented works is a response to one of those failures.
A listing does not go live until somebody has been to the property. Not a phone call, not a self-certification form — a visit. What is checked is the thing a renter cannot check from a photograph:
A verified listing is badged for it. If a property stops matching its listing, the badge comes off.
A Move-in Assistant is on site for the whole first day. They hand over the keys, sign the rental agreement with you on the spot, and record the electricity meter reading so utility billing starts from a number both sides have seen.
This is the single most common point of failure in this market, and it is the reason the role exists.
Renters pay nothing to LiveInRented. No brokerage, no finder's fee, no platform charge on top of rent. What you pay is rent and, where applicable, a security deposit — both to the owner.
Owners list for free and are charged once per renter who confirms a room. There is no listing fee and no monthly subscription. On the pay-on-arrival plans an owner pays nothing until the renter is standing at their door.
We say this plainly because the alternative — a broker taking a month's rent for an introduction and disappearing — is what the product is competing with.
We cover PG rooms and hostel beds in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad, let on monthly terms.
We do not cover whole flats, houses, plots or commercial space; nightly or short-stay bookings; property outside the National Capital Region; or the sale and purchase of property. If that is what you need, this is not the right site and we would rather say so.
A PG lets a room — single, double or triple occupancy — with a gender policy for the whole property. A hostel lets a bed in a dorm, with 2, 3 and 4-bed dorms that can each carry their own gender policy and their own meal plan within one building.
They are modelled separately throughout: separate listings, separate inventory, separate search. A hostel is not a PG form with the labels changed.
